Short and long-term views
Build short- and long-term cashflow views from connected source data.

The demonstration
What this film shows
The commercial finance console opens short-term and long-term cashflow. A daily workbook, a project cost-value schedule and a longer forecast with facility checks are reviewed in turn.
The problem
Cash views are often rebuilt manually in Excel from applications, bank files and project schedules that do not share a source. Producing accurate extracts from live systems was time-consuming and prone to error.
Who uses it
Finance and leadership teams need a near-term cash position and a longer view that can be traced back to connected source data.
The flow
- LedgerLink connects to accounts software and creates a controlled extraction.
- Deterministic local scripts combine the extract with verified inputs from relevant live systems.
- The short-term workbook shows daily inflows, outflows and closing position.
- The long-term forecast sets out receipts, payments, facility position and checks.
Design choices
Short-term and long-term views stay in the same family of workbooks. AI does not process the company accounting data. The views are accurate, repeatable and checkable rather than inferred.
Related systems
Accounts extracts come from LedgerLink. Application movement can come from Applications Ledger where that live system is in use.
